A group of people have reached out to YandereDev again requesting that the nude mods for this game be re-enabled. On October 2nd, 2017 he stated that they are being worked on. Yandere Simulator is a stealth 3D game about being a teenage girl assassin, but it's also PG-rated enough to have nude mods you can download. Up until now, the nude mods were optional downloads by users who purchased them through Steam. But recently, the mods have been made a part of the base game and can be freely downloaded by anyone. The forums of Steam have been flooded with questions from people who want to know how they can get their hands on these nude mods. One user was curious as to why certain nude mods were not available on Steam and received a response from YandereDev stating that different engines handle the nude mod differently. On October 3, 2017 YandereDev stated that they will be making source code for all future updates available for download. With the recent release of Senpai and Tsundere DLCs, there is a lot of interest in the nude mods again. On October 12th, YandereDev announced that they will be uploading more of the nude mods to their repository for anyone to download and play with. Nude modding for this game is unique in that it originated from a feature request submitted by one player in early 2014.
